Victoria Valdez (She/Her) was born and raised in Lehi, UT and grew up watching her brother perform in plays throughout Jr. High and Highschool. She was always enamored by the costumes, and hair and makeup in movies and plays she watched and knew she wanted to get involved, she quickly got involved in high school and never looked back. After she graduated high school, she attended Taylor Andrews Academy of Hair Design and got her Cosmetology License, there she had many opportunities to learn SFX makeup and do hair and makeup for a local magazines (SLUG) fashion show. Once she graduated she worked part time at a salon and then got a job at The Hale Center Theater as a Dresser for A Christmas Carol. She has worked over 14 shows on their Wig crew, and has since had the opportunity to work in the shop doing haircuts for actors and assisting in fronting wigs for upcoming shows. Along with working at The Hale Center Theater she worked some freelance on the hair for a show premiering on Quibi and was a Dresser for the touring show of Something Rotten when they stopped at the Ellen Eccles theater in Logan, UT. After working 3 1/2 years at The Hale Center Theater Victoria landed the positions of Hair and makeup Artist at Utah Shakespeare Festival and was promoted to the supervisor position at the Randall Theater. Since then she has been traveling the world working for Norwegian Cruise Line as a Wig Supervisor for The Donna Summer Musical and is currently finishing up her second six month contract. She has a passion for theater and Wigs and Makeup, has loved the shows and the people she has been able to meet so far and looks forward to seeing where theater takes her next.
